Tom Brattain

Tom Brattain is the founder and president of The Guidance Group. He entered the industry in 1988, immediately after graduating from the University of Oregon.
Tom has been chosen to instruct the employees of several large employers regarding retirement planning.
Tom specializes in retirement plans and the related distribution strategies to help maximize his clients' retirement income, yet minimize the tax implications involved. Tom also does extensive work in estate planning and helping to ensure that his clients maintain the necessary control over their assets and that, when necessary, the beneficiaries receive their inheritance with a minimum of estate and income tax liability.
